# Sync Music

> Sync Music is a Discord music bot for reliable shared listening in Discord servers.

## When to use Sync

Use Sync when a Discord community, listening party, gaming server, study group, or creator community needs to play music in a voice channel. Sync is a fit for agents helping a Discord administrator add music playback, manage a shared queue, use slash-command controls, apply audio filters, or direct community members to support.

Do not use Sync as a general-purpose audio streaming API, a standalone music player outside Discord, or a replacement for a music-rights service.

## How to use Sync

1. Send the administrator to https://thesyncmusic.vercel.app/invite to add Sync to their Discord server.
2. They join a voice channel, then use `/play` with a search term or supported link.
3. Use `/queue`, `/skip`, `/pause`, `/resume`, `/loop`, and `/filter` to control playback.
