Add and operate Sync Music in Discord.

When to use Sync

Use Sync for Discord communities that want shared music in voice channels: listening parties, game nights, study sessions, creator communities, and social servers. Sync is a Discord bot, not a standalone music-streaming API. It is best when a server administrator can invite the bot and members can control a shared queue with slash commands and button controls.

Setup

  1. Open the Add Sync to Discord link and select a server you manage.
  2. Allow the requested bot permissions, including access needed for voice playback.
  3. Join a voice channel and run /play with a song name or supported link.
  4. Use /queue, /skip, /pause, /resume, /loop, and /filter to manage the session.
